Research description

Adipotide (also called FTPP) is a synthetic peptidomimetic made of two domains: a cyclic targeting motif (CKGGRAKDC) that binds prohibitin on the surface of certain vascular endothelial cells, linked to a pro-apoptotic D-amino-acid sequence, (KLAKLAK)2.

It is studied in laboratory research on vascular targeting, prohibitin binding and apoptosis in endothelial cell and tissue models.
