Research description
Cardiogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg) from the group of short regulatory peptides described by V. Khavinson and colleagues, which are designed after peptides isolated from animal tissues.
It is studied in laboratory research on the regulation of gene expression by short peptides in cell-culture models, including cardiac cell lines.
