Research description
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (Gly-His-Lys). The tripeptide occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine and binds copper ions with high affinity.
It is studied in laboratory research on copper transport, extracellular-matrix synthesis (collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans) and gene expression in fibroblast and other cell-culture models.
