Research description

GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide, His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, one of the first growth-hormone-releasing peptides described. It is supplied as the acetate salt.

It is studied in laboratory research as an agonist of the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in pituitary and other cell and tissue models.
