Research description

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, developed from the GHRP family. It is described as a selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor.

It is studied in laboratory research on the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) and the regulation of growth-hormone secretion in pituitary cell and tissue models.
