Research description
Retatrutide is a synthetic peptide of 39 amino acids with a fatty-acid side chain, designed to act on three receptors: the GIP receptor, the GLP-1 receptor and the glucagon receptor.
It is studied in laboratory research on triple GIP/GLP-1/glucagon receptor agonism and incretin signalling in cell and tissue models.
