Research description

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro: the immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) extended with Pro-Gly-Pro, which makes it more resistant to breakdown.

It is studied in laboratory research on neuropeptides, GABAergic signalling and the expression of neurotrophic factors in cell and tissue models.
