Research description

SNAP-8 is a synthetic acetylated octapeptide, Ac-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala-Asp-NH2, modelled on the N-terminal end of the protein SNAP-25.

It is studied in laboratory research on the SNARE complex and on vesicle fusion and neurotransmitter release in cell-based and biochemical models.
