Research description

TB 500 is a synthetic peptide related to thymosin β4, a 43-amino-acid protein that binds actin. Products sold under this name are either full-length thymosin β4 or its short active region (Ac-LKKTETQ); our supplier has not yet confirmed which, and we will state it here once verified.

Thymosin β4 and its fragments are studied in laboratory research on actin binding, cell migration and angiogenesis in cell-culture and tissue models.
