Research description
Teriparatide is the N-terminal fragment of human parathyroid hormone, PTH(1–34), a peptide of 34 amino acids produced by recombinant or synthetic methods.
It is studied in laboratory research on the PTH1 receptor and its signalling in osteoblast, osteoclast and kidney cell-culture models.
